ok yea good idea ...pull timing and use 15psi worth of fuel but only make 13psi worth of power. pulling timing is a band aid for the real problem. think about it. water injection in by no means is a band-aid, it has more benefits than you think including an octane boost (when 50/50 alcohol is used) steam cleaning the internals and valves and cooling the boost BETTER than an intercooler can. im a huge fan of water injection, high boost ALLLL DAY on pump gas is what its all about. top fuel cars use methanol injection...hmm, coincidence? tell a top fuel dragster builder that he's using a band-aid, LOL...i wonder what he would say... a LARGE percentage of the WRC also use water injection...id like to see you tell the subaru wrc team theyre using band-aids...lol on another note, windshield washer fluid isnt your best bet. use 50/50 denatured alcohol and distilled water, it works very good when you set up the kit properly. thanks to guys like twitch, a lot of us are educated enough to set up a good functional kit and reap the many benefits. including 20+psi on pump gas. also, you can control a water injection kit with megasquirt..
