What are you tuning with? MS? if your only looking for 300hp then id go with a turbo along the lines of a 30r. What fuel are you using? On high compression and on pump gas(93oct) you could start off at 12psi and see what kinda power your making on that to get a baseline. You cant run too much boost on high compression on pump gas BUT if you run e85 or some alternative fuel to keep cyl. temps low you can really boost up that high comp. motor
