#107379, "RE: oil restrictor hole size 1.62mm enough?" In response to In response to 2 Oct-25-09 08:31 PM by 420agreenvilleSC
Originally posted by Corbin When I was using a journal bearing turbo, I used no restrictor. I had a -04 AN line from a tee at the back of the block, to a 90 degree swivel, and right into the center section. If you had a ball bearing turbo instead, a 0.035" hole would be appropriate. That is the size I use for my current BB turbo.
good point. Journal bearing turbo's dont require an oil restrictor, BB turbo's tho, yes.
