It'll be easier than pulling the whole motor. SO pretty much all i'd have on there during smog would be the low comp pistons and rods. Rods wont make a difference so only pistons that could make any difference. But turbo shouldn't make it turbo any worse since it'll run normal and not add any fuel until you hit boost. So it would run just like taking the turbo off. But might as well leave turbo off after i swap back to stock head huh? Less problems with visual test.
