The flutter is ok. My Type-S does it under light boost as the spring is tight enough to resist letting off under light boost conditions. When you hear the "gobble", you'll notice a HUGE difference. It's a violent sound and the car will also physically react to it with some hesitation. Like I mentioned in the other thread you linked, the heavy "chugging" or "gobble" sounds is bad. The flutter is normal. A BOV like a Tial has a flutter that borders on surge, but then again, the Tial BOV isn't for tiny turbos and a casual daily driver. You won't see much "light throttle" and "light boost" conditions on a Tial warranted setup. It's a serious BOV and is serious overkill for most setups out there.

Also, I am not a fan of the HKS SSQ at all. I'd reccommend changing in favor of something else.
