The EVO 8 (VIII) Is not new they came out in 2003, the newest that is out is the EVO IX or 9. None of the the EVO engines after the EVO III are the same kind of 4g63 as in a 90-99 Eclipse. So no none of the new EVO engines will fit. The EVO X will not have a 4g63 either.
