It's not a matter of opinion. What evidence do you have to show that conventional oil "allows a little more friction for the surfaces to seat better"?...However, during the engine break-in process, these factors are not a problem.
That's my opinion, and that is EXACTLY why it is a matter of opinion. Or should I say, it's a matter of choice (due to cost), which is still backed by my opinion.
