#2001, "RE: friends honda prelude: lying?" In response to In response to 5 Jan-28-06 04:50 AM by DSMxTSi
I raced a guy with a late VTEC Prelude a few years ago with our bone stock Spyder GS-T, well it did have 18" Konig Monsoons. The Lude had pulleys, wires, and some sort of intake. I think the exhaust was stock. I had him good off the line and pulled a car length, when his VTEC kicked in he almost gained that back, then we stayed pretty even the rest of the 1320' with me winning by maybe a fender. It was a good race for a couple of slow cars. I was lucky to get him off the line as good as I did, cause I suck it launching FWDs. I knew if I didn't beat him off the line that it would be impossible for the T25 to catch him. Our 2gnt (intake, cat-back, pulley, wires, 18" rims) stays even with the Spyder from a roll, but it's a pooch from a dead stop.
