Well i just replaced my lower ball joints myself. F the dealership touchin my car! I got my shop wholesale discount on the ball joints too- 31 bucks a piece. Pretty straight forward install too...My driver side was squeeking BAD! My car sounded like some beatup old pickup or something. Jacked up the car, took off the wheel, and i could push up on the suspension a little, and could see a little bit of movement from the balljoint. The joint would come up a hair first, then the rest of the suspension would come up. Slapped the new part in, and presto
