When you clean your throttle body, don't just spray cleaner into the throttle bore, do this. Make sure engine is off, remove the intake hose to expose the throttle bore. Hold the throttle open all the way BY HAND. DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN (Screwdriver, etc) TO HOLD THE PLATE OPEN as this can scratch and/or damage the throttle plate. Spray carb/throttle body cleaner (with extension tip on nozzle) into the opening, top to bottom and onto the backside of the throttle plate. NOW, Use and OLD toothbrush and while spraying everyonce in awhile, clean the gunk out of the bore as far back as you can safely reach. Especially clean around the area where the throttle plate meets the throttle bore. Clean the back of the throttle plate too. Clean very well and they spray with cleaner to get junk out. Close the plate and spray again. WHEN you do start the car, lightly mist some spray into the opening to get the clean shiny bore by washing all the old junk out. Remember, use a TOOTHBRUSH and NOT A WIRE BRUSH. Happy Sailing.
