I'm pretty sure the -026 actually does fit my 95 federal MTX 2gnt, but now I'mma have to go home and look. I've hacked so many o2 connections doing trial-and-error between my DSMs that its all a blur now.

Really though, all you have to match up is the plastic connector. The sensors are all the same specs, wiring, and threadpitch. The metal sensor bodies have different vent holes but they dont seem to matter.

I think the confusion lies partly in the fact they're going by model year (96.5) instead of chassis build date (6/94). But that's all part of the fun of owning a 1995 DSM.
