Yup, just went through this with my kid's car (96 GS-T convert). We took out his walked, built 7 bolt almost a year and a half ago. Changing it to 6 bolt we ran into a bunch of obstacles (my time, his time, wrong parts, not enough parts, defective parts etc.). About 8 months in, it was a bitch fest. "I hate this fuckin' car" "I can't wait to get this done so I can dump it" "I'm gonna push it out on the road and just leave it there" blah, blah, blah. I just kinda chuckled and moved on, knowing what the eventual outcome would be.
We got her done a couple of months ago and after the first 2 minute ride "God I love this car", "I'm never getting rid of my baby" blah, blah, blah, lol.
It usually takes some hardship to really appreciate something.
