I am not ruling that out, I am going to do a leakdown test first thing tomorrow morning in order to determine that is what happened for sure. I am like you guys however, I think that is what happened, I just don't want to believe it right now. I am curious however if the pistons are going to be okay. I just rebuilt the entire engine about 1700miles ago. Put long rod kit in, 10.5:1 JE pistons full race port and polish, 1mm oversized SS valves, SBI lifters Crane springs, you see where this is going. In any case, it was very costly just for the parts, I did everything but the machining, and let me tell you it was a pain in the ass, and I do not want to have to do it all over again this soon. Once I see the full extent of the damage I might just cry. My car only ran for 3 weeks after the rebuild before I fucked it up.
