as blunt and mean as that sounds, he is 100% correct. If you want to see anything below a 14.8 1/4 mile then u need some sort of Forced Induction. I rebuilt my bottom end with j/e's and eagle and had my head milled so i didn't miss out on my compression. You don't necessarily have to do that, but if u really plan to go fast then N/A is not the way to stay. Trust us, we've been there too.


This is not totaly true there, Aaron. If Todd was running 15.3s with a mostly stock engine, imagine what he could do with a fully built and tuned NA... Now, I would agree that, maybe if you stripped the car to reduce a lot of weight, built the shit out of the engine, and had a very good driver, you might someday 14.6, but that's my super optimistic limit. Personally, I'd like to see 14.9 myself before boosting this spring.

And Ryan... C'mon bro. "Sell it and buy a turbo?" You know better than that! We have to encourage the all motor route when people want to try it. That's where the engine developments come about. Eventually, you get to the point where simply turning up the boost is not an option.
