Alright, I have the AEM with bypass, I put the valve right below the first bend where it starts to bend towards the ground. You won't have to drill any holes to mount the intake, but put it in first, then use the template to find a good spot to put the bypass. Then take it out (leave the template on it) and use a hacksaw (or some power tool if you have it, I just used hacksaw) to cut the pipe on each end of the template. Make sure to use some sort of file to deburr the edges where you cut at though, cause you woulnd't wanna suck that $hit down your engine.
