i can have the motor itself out in about 2 hours without yankin the trans

remove the lower access panel on the bell housing, rotate the clutch/flexplate and undo the 19mm bolts all the way around (4)

comes out 10x easier in my honest opinion

ATX and MTX both have problems with clearance if you do not undo the 4 rear 19mm bolts i described above, the input shaft doesnt like to be pulled away from the clutch and motor as much as just lifting the motor out with no clutch connected to the flexplate

ive done it every single time like this, badda bing badda boom
