so classes have finally ended- finals + papers etc and i decided to take my car to a local repair shop to look into the problem i am having:
unable to shift gears with the car on can shut car off, switch and start car can not drive for very long- car starts to get a little shaky
when i posted the general response was either a lack of fluid or a problem with the clutch master cylinder.
so i talked to the people at the shop today on the phone they said that i need a new clutch. they didn't say what they looked at either or how they came to this conclusion. my clutch is relatively new, so it sounds like crap to me. centerforce dual friction modular.
i'm going to go there tomorrow morning to look at it and most probably have it towed to satan. what should i look for/say?
when i drove the car the little that i did, i could adjust both engage and disengage the clutch while in gear just fine- just not switch gears.
