#4202, "Putting Tranny Fluid in Torque Converter before reinstalling?"

Is it absolutely necc. to put fluid in the torque converter before reinstalling it? I didnt know that I was supossed to do that until I started reading up on these posts. Everything is already put back together since my motor swap and i REALLY dont feel like dropping the tranny. If I just fill it up like normal (through dipstick) will it fill up again? Or do i need to get it professionaly flushed??? Damnit Thanks guys...
