1) Torque-brake launching makes no improvement in your launch. I have proven this on the track, with slips. Torque braking DOES ruin your transmission by overheating it eventually. Only attempt it if you have an upgraded high-stall torque convertor! http://www.whack.org/~dan/car/fdm/improvement.jp g
2) 7.4 seconds is obviously a timing error. Either your speedo is way out of calibration, or your stopwatch finger is off by about a full second. Most ATX's have an 8-9 sec 0-60 imo.
