A TSI track timing system mesures two speeds at the inlet and outlet if you want to call it that at the end of thje 1/4 mile (notice the 100 feet of stripes at the end of most and then it averages them out. The G tech only measures exit speed. That is why it is always higher. But the 1.4 times are usually fairly accurate.
