Well I want to add Cam gears to my mod list. I think I am going to go with the AEM ones. I know that they can give around an extra 6-7 hp. I dont think I want to install them myself. I dont want to mess with the timing belt. How much do you guys think someone will charge me to do it. And if there is anyone from the board in central or south florida that can do it let me know!!!

Well, I dont live in FL, but my local shop here installed my AEM cam gears for about 300 bucks. It took them almost an entire day to do it. I was thinking of installing them myself too but the job is a pain to do plus I dont have all the tools to do it.Unless, you have the tools, patience and knowledge to install them, go for it. Otherwise look for a shop to do it for a good price. Plus, if you have a shop do it, make sure they set the cam gears right. My shop here set mine up wrong and now im a little more than a half a second slower with my settings right now. When I do my turbo install (with the help of Nikademis), I'll set them to the right specs. Advance intake 2 degrees, retard exhaust 2 degrees.

Well if they cost 300 bucks to install....F*#K THAT. That 300 can go towards my turbo.

Actually most places should install it for around 200 bucks. Its good hp for the money if you're staying nt, but if you are going turbo for sure, you might want that turbo first...
