im about to install mine, and im wondering what the capacity of the tq converter is. how much should i put int before i install it?

ive heard 4-5 quarts, but that sounds like a lot? i dont see how all that fluid is going to fit in there haha.

Should be around 4-5 like you've heard. The whole trans holds like 9.1 and the actually transmission holds about 4 or so. I say put in as much as possible and keep an eye on that amount and what it is then add apprpriately to the trans.

For further refrance the t.c. only needs 1 quart to install it. Once installed you fill as needed. No big deal you topped it off just not as sloppy on install. You just dont want it to be dry.
