I spoke with him the other day don't know if you guys remember my post about the race but anyways just though id let you guys know that he is in the process of upgradeing from stage 4 to 5 and said he is looking at about 3 months down time. BTW, he ran a 11.8 @ 121 MPH with a HRC Stage 4 and no nitrous I personally didn't beleive him until he showed me his slips I give this guy alot of props seeing how it took HRC and there Stage 5 kit to break 11s and he did it with there Stage 4.

BTW, I have talked to Hahn and the Stage 3 kits should be available next month they are at the final stage of tuning it.

I miss boostin

I raced one on Saturday night and I surprisingly didnt lose by that much untill we got over 70-80 mph. They pull very hard on top end. I was only a couple cars back though untill we got to the high speed and I let off. I bet he was surprised I stayed with him for so long.

no kiddin, because we are literally half the car they are. I4, V8...Hm... It almost makes you think that they should have twice the power, but it never works that way.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

I'm not trying to flame you or anything, but your statement is kinda narrow minded. What do you think the V8 guy is thinking if an Eclipse with an I4 is hanging with him? While you think it is great that an I4 can hang with a V8, he thinks its a shame it takes that many mods plus a supercharger to hang with him.

Again, I'm not trying to flame you, I'm just trying to let you know what the other guy may be thinking.

I would like to see that car as well. An Eclipse in the 11s? That is damn fast. Let me know when you find out where that guy is. I want to see some pics and stats.

Oh yeah, and Dave_FL, low 14s is damn good. Do you know if you raced an LS1 or LT1 Camaro? (LT1=the ones with the old style front end; LS1=the new ones) At 14.3 or 14.4 (whichever one you run), you should be beating LT1 Camaros. That is about what they run stock. Do you have fun with the Mustang GT guys? I would love to see the look on their faces when they aren't able to pull anything on you.

Hehe...your statement is kinda narrow minded too. First there are no superchargers for an eclipse (just to let you know), and an eclipse that fast still costs $10,000 less than a high end camaro. If we modded our cars up to $30-35000 then you would probably be seeing our tailights.

I'm not trying to debate this point with you, I'm am just trying to give you some insight into what is going on in the other guy's mind. That is why it might appear narrow minded.

My car is a top of the line Z28 and it cost $26,000 after tax, tag and title.

Supercharger, turbo charger, same thing really. I should have typed "forced induction" instead of supercharger.

Thanks for the complement Chris . I really havent had a chance to race a regular lt1 or ls1. It seems I always get stuck racing a SS or a WS6. I always lose against them but some times I stay within a repectable range like 2-3 car lenghts. I love racing the GT's. They are shocked when they dont blow me away. I am usually right there with them if not ahead of them. Probably the worse loss I ever had was against a new C5. He really tore me up bad.

Heres a daily driven eclipse rs that runs a 11.53@126mph. Not bad huh? Heres the link.. http://www.hrchahnracecraft.com/auto/eclipse/eclipse.htm

I dont know how familiar you are with our cars but the all wheel drive eclipse can get 11's pretty easily. Its amazing what a turbo can do on a 4 cylinder engine. I know a guy that runs an 11.8 @117 in his 95 gsx.
