Does anybody know "how" to take out the limiter? Or anything I can do to go over 120mph. A lot of people told me to change out the CPU, mess with the speed sensor... But, i don't know. I drive a 95 Eclipse RS. Anybody, please tell me. I can't let them punk ass Mustang Cobras beat me on the interstate. So PLEASE!!!
It is going to take more than that to beat a Cobra on the freeway. Heck..my old "box" 93 has no prob pegging the speedo past 140. BUT..I do reach the drag limits at about 4200 or so in 5th..only way to overcome it is more power. At least you have aerodynamics in your favor. My Probe has a 113mph limiter...but it is there for a reason..tires are only S speed rated..to 112. Soon as I get better tires..that's coming off!! My friend had his 95 GS to 140 I believe though....
I saw the needle pinned, at 170 on a stretch of flat road. I have smaller wheels/tires so it was prob close to 155-160 but i'ld say not too shabbey, huh?

I went till the speedo said 123 in 4th gear that was redline, i shifted into fifth and it kept pulling, but I ran up on traffic, saw a cop, braked, and got a ticket for 88 in a 70. I'm stock, what do you think it'll stop pulling at?
Had mine to around 140 all motor, when I hit N20, look out, it pulls pretty hard. I just went to about 145 then let off cause I don't need to be arrested...
