I didn't mean it as they are a looks only deal with no performance aspect to them. I know they provide gains over the stock manifold. I was just saying that people like the look of a header over stock exhaust manifold because it's not a cast piece like a stock mani is. Headers are cleanly (most of the time) welded with nice shiny pipes.

I wouldn't really care what it looked like as long as the fitment was good and no removing of stock components (A/C, etc) was needed to bolt up.
