I really think if I were going to do this I would invest in a little capital first....buy a set that's tried and true and see exactly what's going on. I don't think that is something you can do just by looking at some pics. And you could take measurements. Plus you could get the manufacture and the part #'s off the shocks they used....that would take a lot of guess work out of it, by either buying those exact shocks or a comparable pair. I'm not saying to make a direct copy of them...but rather just get an idea of the basic size and function of each part. You can do it I'm sure...but I don't think a 1500 dollar investment on a project like this is out of line. Just my 2cents.
