the radioshack ones at 2600mcd are the same brighness as the varad ones.. not sure on the other colors but for the blue it is that way.. believe me.. i have gotten both.. the only way i can think of making it brigter is to add multiple leds behind the hvac and that would take some major customizing.. :-)
