The eclipse in the first part of the movie is a 420A and it looks like it has DC Sport header on it and not even turboed.....?

Yes, and in that same scene, Ja Rule notices that there's enough NOS to blew himself up, so he must store his nitrous bottles in the engine bay.....

He doesn't lie. The eclipse in the first part of the movie is a 96 rs. And if anyone's seen sex drive they'll notice the same exact car in that movie too.

I'm pretty sure he also shifts 10 times in the race and sometimes floors in when he wants to go faster. Since when do you not always floor it when racing?

Pfft!!! You obviously didn't play close attention. Torretto tells the crowd that the 100 shot of nitrous Brian Spilner throws into the engine blows the welds off the intake. Everyone knows the intake welds are on the floorboard. :wary
