Because I like the Solstice better, *and* the Saturn's MSRP is $1300-1500 higher.

The GXP is a tad to bubbly to me compared to the RedLine but I hear ya on the Saturn MSRP bullshit.

Awesome car though. That new DI turbo motor is a nice piece. I did a quick free way jaunt with a GXP in my Neon and was surprised how quick it was.

All that last pic needs is some 20" chrome spinnas ;-)

I've yet to ride in one, I don't prefer the look but I don't really ever hear anything bad about them.

I am more partial to the sky as well, but I would still say excellent choice, sir. :thumbsup

Why on earth is the saturn more? Doesn't that seem backwards to everyone?

Maybe a tad backwards considering the rest of GM's line up but I think the fit and finish of the Sky is a tad nicer since it's sold as an off the shelf Opel GT over seas. The only difference is swapping the Saturn badge for an Opel one. Whatever the reason I'm sure it was a deliberate move by GM. :shrug

28608, you MUST do this:

http://www.mallettcars.com/solstice-conversion.htm

At the very least, you need to have a domo-kun plush hanging off the rear bumper...

I honestly had a Sky Red Line on my short list, but there is no damn way I could fit in it comfortably. Great little cars otherwise. Congrats on the new ride!

Cool, but for 20k+ they only ran a high 12 seconds. I'm sure you could do it for a lot less and still have plenty left over to add suspension and other upgrades to improve overall performance.

If they made a hard top version, I'd be all over it as well.

Nice ride by the way. you gonna drive it out to Vegas this weekend?

congrats on the new car. My friend runs a Saturn store but they rarely have a redline Sky because the ones that come in are already spoken for. I look forward to driving one someday. Plans to mod it?

Just like that GT-R is going to cost 75 large after tax title and license? You be sure to let us know when one of those is sitting in your garage.

Sigh. :rolleyes

If i remember corectly from when I worked on the Mile of Cars, one of the two center consoles/dash looks VERY similar to ours, that made me like it even more... I think it was the Soltice's.

EDIT: Yup the solstice
