Been 2 years since I sold the Eclipse. Had the VR4 and now the Legacy. Still plan on hanging around here and going to the shootout though.

Sold my last eclipse a few months ago. I come to hang out and help where I can, and generally just chew the fat.

One day I'll own another 2gnt (I still have a gang of parts laying around for one), just can't afford it right now with the cougar, mustang, busa, gsxr600, and yukon. :)

I was eclipse free for about 1.5yrs. Gave it to my bro-in-law since his car died and he and my sis had money issues at the time. Well about 2months back he blew the tranny and didn't want to fix it so I got the thing back. Fixed the tranny and now the ole GS is my beater.

152k miles and still going. Although it burns a little to much oil and idles at about 1.5-2k rpms while coasting with the clutch in and doesn't settle down till you complety stop then it drops to about 800rpms where it should be. If i cared enough I might fix the issues but I don't :P

Her's looks like this one. Same year and model. The major mods done to this thing are a 3" lift, bumpers, a set of 285/75R16 tires, and a sweet Line-X paint job. That's right. Line-X. Pretty tough trucks, these Amigos...

That looks BAD ASS Dr. Iggs! are those vehicles expensive? Its an offroading ride yet its not nearly the gargantuan that the rest of these type of cars are. I get tired of slowing down at bumps and dips myself, but with one of those.... }(

Thats... actually... pretty damn cool. because its different. lately ive been pissed off because theres never anything new anymore. same old shit. day in, day out. until we die. on a positive note, i invested in some tires recently because mine were starting to suck, and i ended up with some all season performance tires, im still rolling 14's so they ended up being $65 a piece. Got a repreve from winter this week and they saw some dry pavement and holy shit. i am in love with my car again. those touring tires i had, had ALOT of sidewall flex (on 70's series tires... who knew? lol) that i was blaming on my car. I have almost NO body roll now. i love it. its like im actually getting to feel what my springs, struts, strut tower braces and rear sway bar were SUPPOSED to feel like.

now i daily drive a 2000 ranger(waiting for a mustang 5spd trans, then that will be a blown 5.0)

also have a, yes, flame away, turbo civic. don't worry though, no rice here. fully built motor/turbo kit, tuned to 16psi on pump. runs 12.0-12.2

sold the 2gnt back in 04...but couldn't stay away from eclipses and ended up in my 99 gst.

Mine is in the frozen tundra of Alaska with a nice hole in the fully built bottom end :thumbsdown

Still have the RS, don't know for how long. It's got tags that expired in 2003, been driven 3 times in 2 years, and my wife's sick of hearing about it!
