I have gotten multiple stories on why. For all I know, the dealership may have known they were making no more of them, but just took my money figuring they would worry about it later on down the line. One would think that sitting there with cash and an open attitude of "just shoot me your prices without any extra levies and we'll be fine" would be a good leverage point thing. This guy couldn't have had an easier sale.
