Wzup peeps, I researched the forum and archives and can't find how to get an even drop. I have the Eibach pro kit and I love the way the car sits in the front, however the back is too low for me simply because the car rides like sh!t. I posted something a while back about rattling and squeaking noises after replacing my old blown KYB struts with Tokico's. I need the car to be either about 1" lower than stock in the rear or about 1" higher than the Eibach pro kit makes it sit in the rear. Any springs out there that will do it? Are cheap coilovers really that bad? Can I cut the stock springs a little? What I've done for now is left the Eibach springs in the front and returned to stock in the rear. The car sits a little higher in the rear, doesn't look horrible but I know how low I would like it to look. Thanks for your help.

By the way nothing I did gets rid of the rattling sound of the springs on the strut perch, I did however get rid of the squeaking by placing a rubber washer and silicone between the metal washer for the upper bracket assembly.

Well i just installed the H&R sport series srpings not only a week or so ago. They dropped me about 2" in the front, and about 1.6 or so in the rear. NO noises, ride is excellent, and the rear still sits slightly higer with a heavy speaker box in the back, and a full tank of gas. I'm on stock struts too by the way. Got the springs at tirerack.com for 211 bucks. Just look at my signature pic to give you an idea of the drop. Also check out the interior/exterior forum for my post of my new wheels and drop. The reason i chose the H&R's was for exactly the problem you have. It seems like Eibach didn't take into account the added weight of a system or full tank of gas to keep the rear at the same level or higher than the front. I'm very happy with the H&R's. Only way for PERFECT height is adjustable coilovers. You can then adjust each corner exactly to however high you want it, even accounting for your weight in the driver's side if you wanted.

Thanks for your replies guys, question about the coilovers. I don't want to spend too much since I already invested in the Eibachs, though selling them isn't out of the question. From what I've read here coilovers (specially cheap ones) give a bumpy, stiff ride. I want to try to keep a comfortable ride. What's your opinion on the $150 coilovers most online stores have for sale? Thanks
The other option I've been considering is visiting junkyards and looking for springs, 1gen eclipse springs. Aren't those lower than 2nd gen, will the fit?

I would NOT put anything except skunk2 or ground control coilovers in my car. Some of the cheaper coilovers use an allen screw that can strip easily. You can get skunk2 coilovers for under 300, or ground control for under 375. I think the quality is worth it.

What about adjustable shocks? I've read here someone saying that they can drop your car about an 1". I think I remember reading the Tokico adjustables are lower, is that right? or do the adjustable shocks simply change the stiffness of the ride?

Adjustable shocks ONLY adjust the stiffness of the ride. However, if the shock itself is designed shorter or longer than stock shocks, that may slightly adjust the height of your ride, but usually it shouldn't make a big difference.

My sportlines also lower the rear more than the front.
