1075, RRE LOWER BARS DONE!! Pre-Order Now!
Posted by eclipse804, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Hey guys, Mike at RRE has finished fabricating the front lower bars for our cars. They will be manufactured and done in about a month. Here's the good news: ONLY 50 DOLLARS if you pre-order it now, and they won't charge your credit card until they ship it. But you have to order by e-mail, not phone. Regular price is 79 dollars.

Here's some info from Mike:
We did have a chance to make a prototype lower bar. It will sell for the same price as the 2G turbo lower bar. $79. If anyone wants to order one before we make the first batch, the price will be $50. They would fill out the order form at http://www.roadraceengineering.com/orderform.htm

We would do the discount only by e-mail and the bars will be ready in about a month. We charge the credit card when the bars ship. I will build enough to fill the early orders and maybe 10 extra all at once. Any orders placed after we build the first batch will be at the regular $79.

Any orders or inquiries by phone get full price.

1077, Our engine heads are really small....

Hey Skrilla, my car may or may not be done this weekend. The head is still at the machine shop. Mike said that the head was REALLY small on our car, and there was a lot that could be ported. I can't wait to drive my car again (been a month without it). Oh ya, can you still help out with the coilover install, maybe the weekend of the 23rd? Kaiser is going to help out too...thanks

1078, Small is an UNDERSTATEMENT...

They are about as big as a Honda 1.6L cylinder head. I have mine right in front of me and it is physically about 1/2 the size of the 4G head(I have a complet one of those also). They are indeed VERY small, but for good reason, to clear our hood, to perform very efficiently, and use less gas. Are heads enable our motor to be about 88% volumetricly efficient. Thats better than most turbochargers. Not as good as VTEC but not as costly either. Anyway I can help you that weekend just drop me a line a couple days ahead.

The only 2 bars that are finished are still being Beta tested until Wed.(which is when I get mine:)!! So they won't be shipping until at least then.

Ya actually in Mike's e-mail, he said it could take about a month to have them fabricated and then shipped out. So pre-order now for the low price, and you'll be the first to have them when they're ready...
