The EGR has been blocked off for years. I'm sure Matt's has been as most people running the limit have been. With stock cams it doesn't even matter. With big cams it takes the ECU a little while to learn. High decel with the clutch disengaged the motor will stumble and die. Though eventually it will learn and stop doing that. Depending on what year it'll kick on the CEL for either busted EGR circuit or insufficient EGR flow.
