I like the rules that Tuners has, even though I'm still not a "proven" member since I've posted there maybe 20 times. The idea of a newbie forum is sound, it would weed out those not serious about the platform, which is what a tech forum is all about, but I don't think there needs to be strict moderation in the tech forums. The moderation we have now is good, IMO. Maybe it's just me, but the mere presence of the senior members/moderators was enough to compel me to search before asking a potentially asked question before. But that's just me...
