The ECU sees nothing related to oil pressure. The oil pressure sending unit on the back of the block only hooks straight to your gauge cluster in the dash. And its not really even a pressure sensor, more like a pressure switch. Too low of an oil pressure and it triggers the oil light in the dash. The ECU never sees this signal.
That is what I figured, but hell, it was a shot in the dark ya know.
