872, Want to increase compression via head gasket Posted by Avenger, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I think my factory one is breaking down so I wanted to get a new one. If i wanted to increase my compression I could get one that is thicker to increase my compression, right? or is it the other way around?
Anyway, real question where to get, what type, what thickness?

Do some searching back there hsould be some posts by me and others where Sktrilla give great advice and what specs to get, for wht compression ratios etc.
You want a thinner gasket to increase compression and a thicker one to reduce compression.
gaskets.com or headgaskets.com or somethign like that and get a copper head gasket ~.022" thick.
