SAE Corrected: 406hp 393tq.

Wasted the first 3 pulls unfortunately, as I did not notice the operator had my parking brake up, and my parking brake grounds my 2-step/launch control... so yeah, at 4k RPM it was retarding to 0 deg advance and dropping spark - POW POW POW POW! He started asking if I had some ignition retard, excessive plug gap, etc. Then I noticed the parking brake up... :wallbash

Keep in mind this is a street tune on pump gas. I have barely touched the upper VE bins and it showed, the AFRs were hitting 10.0:1 about 6000 so I have a lot of fuel to pull up top. Plenty more power to go.

Charge temps were 150F by this pull too.

Very impressive. Anticipating what's to come when the fuel is cleaned up in the higher rpm ranges.

Impressive! what turbo and Psi were ya running? do you have the MAT in TS setup? just wondering after reading the 15o deg IAT note.

Garrett GT3076R @28psi.

I have slight ignition retard curve based on MAT values, but not heavy.

28psi on pump gas? I hate you. :) Really nice numbers man.

nice! Ill hope for something along those lines with my billet 5857. Got vids?

Isuppose out in FL
they have the 93 octane?

Sweetness! And 10.0 afr's? Great, room for more.

Yes, 93 Octane here. No vids.

Definitely room for more. The VE bins in the upper right were, for the most part, untouched as I cannot really spend anytime in that region during street tuning/datalogging :) But as you said, plenty of room for more.

I am really close to maxing out my 750 injectors, so in the near future I will upgrade to 1000s.

IDK, FLA has some nice straightaways, lol.

I thought I told you way back when to get 1000's? If I did, then I told you so! :P

Yeah, 750's at 400whp; shouldn't be too bad but above that you would be working them. I'm betting your in the low to mid 90's with a 10.0 afr.

Correct, sir. IDCs are pretty much at the threshold with the untuned AFRs. I do not remember if we had the injector discussion back when I was accumulating parts, but I did not really have a solid power goal at the time either. Either way, another set of injectors is not a huge deal.

Very nice Dave, you probably have a good bit more power in there with as rich as that gets! Either way, congrats man, solid numbers. So.....whats next?

Well first, looks like dropping the trans to see why the clutch got hinky last night on my way home from a local meet. On engine braking and just before throttle tip-in, I was feeling quite a bit of chatter from the flywheel to flexplate. Not sure why, but I have a good suspicion that bolts are backing out. As much as I love the holding power of the Clutchmasters FX600 twin disc, it has always made a lot of noise. Also I have had issues with the aluminum flyhwheel threads anytime I have had to r&r the clutch assembly.

So.... look into what it costs to rebuild the clutch, or possible downgrade to an FX400 or FX500 single disc.

But besides that: 1000cc injectors, water injection (not for the methanol octane boost, but to control charge temps), and a new manifold to replace the log.

those are some sweet numbers. Love seeing the torque is almoast as much as hp.

400whp on a log manifold. Thats very impressive.

Hahn, Dave, Thura and I and I think DJ420a all have made over 400whp on the log, Dino and Terry may have as well. Not too sure, but I know there has been a few that have made decent power on a log.

and that's exactly why I'm going with the 2.4 swap.... Awesome man, great numbers at 10 afr...

I would be very curious to see dyno comparisons to see how much power you would gain by just switching to a better flowing manifold.

VERY impressive. Keep up the good work. 10:1 AF... pump gas... 406hp to the wheels... when it's gets dialed in who knows what it will make for power but it will be outstanding.
