Okay here goes... I wouldn't suggest iot and here's why.
You said you have an alarm. If you put in a beaterry kill switch you disable your alarm.
The switch you want to use would probably melt. with the amound or voltage and current being pumped into it. Do you have radio stations programmed into your radio? you won't. Every time you kill the power it will reset the radio. I think the best use of a battery kill switch is if you store the car for extented periods of time. In which case I recommend what I'm going to do when I relo my battery to the trunk. Put in a circuit breaker. I have a 120 amp circuit breaker that you can disconnect with the press of a small button on it. And you stop the flow of current. As far as a day to day use I wouldn't recommend it. If you do then you'll need to get a switch that can handle the job. If you are looking for a security measure you could wire in a switch to kill the signal to the starter. Just some thought let me know what you guys think.
