To the best of my recollection, they're not offset.
Hmmm interesting... Me and my Engines teacher were discussing this swap yesterday and this topic came up. He said every piston he has seen in the last 30 years has had an offset piston pin. Be interesting to research more... But if the guys running them are not haveing any problem then I guess thats all that really matters.


Then I guess he's never seen a forged JE piston for tyhe 420A, either. Those aren't offset. First engine i built, we couldn't determine which way they were supposed to face, so we measured the pin offset. No offset.
