110687, Is my O2 sensor voltage messed up? Posted by VX100, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I've installed the safc CORRECTLY now, I've got the blue wire mod hooked up to the white wire with the black stripe on the upper connector (this is the O2 sensor wire, right?) so I think it's wired up correctly
well, the O2 voltage just went to about 0.72V and stayed around there at idle, it only varied by about 0.05 V that's it. I didn't let the car idle very long. Did I just not wait long enough for the O2 sensor to warm up or is there something messed up?
Is the voltage supposed to get to about 0.96 V or so and THEN it starts fluctuating from about 0 to 1 v at idle?

O2 sensor was still cold. once it warms up, it will bounce from rich to lean. Giving the car a few quick revs usu. speeds up the process.
have fun!
