96005, RE: How Do You Torque Down That Crank Pulley? Posted by DarkOne, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM I use a small torch to heat the center of the pulley, and an impact to drive it on. Its torqued properly when it bottoms out. If the bolt breaks, that's too much. :+
