4629, Where's the TCM/ TCU on a 95 Talon Posted by turfduster, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I have a 95 Eagle Talon n/t auto. I need to know if one of the two module under the hood is the TCM/TCU these are on the drive side in front of the battery or is it under the dash? I've done ripped the console and side panels out and didn't see it under the dash. The info I found is that these are the pcm & ecm but according to a sticker on the under side of the hood from a dealership they call it the tcm because they changed it out in 1997.Any help would be great and thanks in advance and I hope I posted this in the right place.

The ecu is behind the fuse box bolted to the strut tower. Yes in front of the battery just below it. Tcm/tcu is on the auto trans, and next to the transmission dipstick.
Go buy a haynes or a chiltons, both will give information about the tcm/tcu.
Yes, you posted in the right place.

I have a Haynes manual the way I seen it I was thinking it was under the dash but that's where I was told it was to so that didn't help. I was thinking it may be mounted there with the ECU because there two modules mounted together there in that spot. Thanks for the help I'll see if it's gone bad then.
