hey evry1, i just bought used tranny from one of the guys on the forum, and i realized theres a problem. I have a 95 and there are two plugs at the bottom right side (when lookin at it from the front). the tranny i got was out of a 99, thought it was the same but has only one 10 pin plug (only 9 pins are availible). anyone know how to wire it up to fix that, or even run into it b4?

I have to do a write up next weekend for another board on how I did the rewiring of my tranny swap I put a 2003 pt cruiser turbo tranny in my 1995
I will post the write up over here too
I may or may not work for you
some peoples had bad luck trying to make a 96+ tranny work with a 95 computer
good luck finding the new connector btw
most junk yard don't want to sell them
you need the 1999 and up connector
96 to 98 used the same pinout as 1999 and up but with a different plug style
my 95 tranny was bolt on and delivered to the border but you choose not to respond to your own inquiry

i can get the connect thats not a prob, same with the tcu. just i dont know the wiring schematics to change it over.
btw... i had three diff tranny offers and didn't realize bout the plug problem and i needed a tranny asap and couple wait a couple weeks... thats why i didnt reply
