Thanks to you for the tips you gave me to use at the track. I employed them tonight and ran my fastest time so far.

R: .0916
60: 2.32
1/8: 10.324@67.04
1/4: 16.094@86.67

I know if I would have had more runs I could have hit a 15.999, but Im happy for now. Im just waiting for that AFX ECU to wake this beast up.

I didnt have time last night but now that I do I can give a mod list as of yesterday at the track.

Full CAI
60MM TB
Crower 2 Cams + Springs
PnP'd Head
OBX header
Test Pipe
SRS Catback- 2.5" From DP to Muffler
MSD Coil
F1 Clutch

Stock ECU under full control, FULL tank of gas, removed subs, spare tire, other small weight reductions. RS wheels on front with 20 psi in tires. Burnout in the box, launching at 4k with almost no wheel spin. No lift shift at about 7k to second.

Im really looking forward to the track next spring. By then I will have an AFX ECU, PnP'd Intake manifold, possibly cam gears. I should be well into the 15s by then.

Also, this was probably one of the best parts of the night. When I ran the 16.09 I saw these 2 older guys on the sidelines watching me. I get back to the pits and pop my hood, sit in my car for a few minutes. They were walking thru the pits and walk by my car and say "Wow, that was all motor, too."

hehe, I could never break into the 15s when I was NT. With the v2+TB+magnaflow, she sure sounded mean and behaved fantastic in 1st and 2nd, but once I hit 3rd gear it was like driving a minivan. I remember seeing people in the stands checking the car out as the V2 started to make it's crazy vacuum sound, but once I hit 3rd they must have all thought FAIL

Looks like you are starting to get some seat time. Maybe hit her just a bit harder on launch (I presume you have the slight clutch ride then dump) . See what happens to your times. You are pretty close to being there with your tire and overall set-up. I would say your launch could go into the 2.2's or if you really hit it right, MAYBE you could bang a 2.1. Otherwise, 2.3 is pretty close. Nice!

I read some exitement here! Great Colby. I can't wait for you to get into the 14......er, 15's either. You are definitely working it correctly; a step at a time.

Thank you, sir! I was very happy just to be able to improve my time by .3 of a second. To a lot of people, thats not that much faster, but to me, thats one step closer to my goal.
