On June 13 at 2am I was driving down the highway and a 97 v6 firebird pulls up beside me, revs his engine and takes off, I down-shifted to 3 gear and took off, after about 15 seconds of catching up to him, we stop at a red light, the light changes, and we take off, he shoots out in front of me in no time, I catch up and blow him away going atleast 120, and the guy can't catch up to me, he even used NOS, and still lost, he got :owned

We see each other several times a week and he just pulls off in to a parking lot, keeping in mind that he got whooped by a stock 150 hp eclipse! He must be pushing 160-180 without the nos!

Gotta love it!

first off, this should be in the war stories section. second off, i have a hard time believing this.

i second that, a v6 firebird using nos can't beat a stock 95 eclipse, :bash

i still think that front mount of yours is dead sexy...i'm now thinking about getting one for my car even though i'm close to broke }(

very possible ... i beat a the v6 auto ... i looked up the firebird v6 1/4 times and found mostly 15.9 - 16.2 .. i dont know if they were manual though i dont follow pontiac ... so i would have to say the win was very possible ... but how do u know that he sprayed if u were in front .... ?

Maybe he's got the decoy NOS kit that's only a purge :shrug

He could suck at driving, and you're a better driver than him, which makes a major difference.

He could have a hurt engine from spraying too much also.

It's very possible, though.

Our cars are slow stock but so is the stock v6 firebird....it would be a semi-close race...but just sounds to me like you did the infamous ricer fly-by after u lost the race.
