sup fellaz, i just met up with an old hockey buddy, and he bought a civic.
he showed me his engine bay, and hes got dc headers/aem intake/msd ignition/msd blaster/ muffler. (and i forgot, he has sum venom chip, told me it dont do anything tho). he is manual as well.

i told him id probably run 16s all day, and he got excited, and told me that we were gunna race.

should i waste my time/gas/money goin to the track to race him?

i will probably go anyways, to see what kinda times I can get.

my straight line performance mods are 2.5 exhaust/intake (ram air) 55mm t/b, afx udp, wires, ngk plugs. and i guess a few things i forgot.

we both are on 16s, maybe he has 17s im not sure, not stock tho.
i have nitto450rubber, kinda worn and $hitty camber (-2.3 upfront)

anyways, is he gunna be seein my tailights??

what kinda tire pressure do i need to run? 20psi in front, 30 in back??

any other extras i can do? its a test and tune day, 25 bux. maybe like 3 or 4 passes.

tia

I'd say that if he doesn't have V-Tec, then you should waste him. My ESi at stock could keep up with my friend's '99 Civic Si with intake, headers, exhaust, plugs, and wires up until he shifted to third, then he'd start to pull on me a bit. If he has V-Tec he'll probably take you with those mods. I'd say race him and see what happens.
