I'm all about road racing!! I got bitten by the bug by going to last year's Carlisle NASA road racing program during their Compact Car show that is held every year around beginning of may. Those around the PA region should DEFINITIVELY enjoy. Even though their track is fairly small (i mean really small), it is enough fun to be had and still be safe (meaning you dont ding up your car!).

NASA is probably the best club to start out into road and autox racing. NASA holds WHOLE WEEKENDS at Willows Grove (name may be wrong) which is a full fledged road course in PA. You pay $40 bucks, you race all weekend. Period. It kicks ass. No speed limits. Just you and your car and the road. Its the most awesome thing that can be done. If my car didnt blow chunks right after carlisle (those that were there saw how much i beat on it - road raced all weekend and still pulled 26psi on race gas on the dyno hehe - i would have joined Willow Grove last year.

Now that my car is rebuilt, I plan on making full use of the road courses in the tri-state area of PA/MD/DE/NJ during the warm season.

Mystic - give me a howler sometime dude. We can head up to willow grove and check it out. Best way to learn your car's ability and not do any damage since you will be in a track and without a car near you and without walls or curbs ;)
